1. Validity

The following terms and conditions are valid for deliveries and services. Any other customer provisions can be accepted only if we give our express written confirmation.

2. Offers, Acceptance, Contract

All offers in our catalogues or in the online shop are without obligation. There is no binding sales contract between the customer and us until the order has been expressly confirmed in writing or otherwise.

3. Private Individuals

Private individuals in Germany who are ordering from us for the first time may choose payment in advance, credit card payment, or direct debit payment. Private individuals in other countries may choose between payment in advance and credit card payment.

4. Right of Withdrawal

The customer has the right to cancel a purchase within 30 days, provided the goods are sent back in complete and undamaged condition. This does not apply to custom-made goods and cut materials that have been especially prepared for our customers. In the event of problems with suppliers, we also reserve for ourselves the right to cancel a sales contract.

5. Prices

All prices in our assortment are stated in euros and include the currently valid VAT of 19 %. These prices are always subject to change at short notice and possible errors.

6. Shipping costs for Germany

Orders are delivered as insured packages by post or UPS. We charge a flat fee of 6 euros for shipping and handling, including 19 % VAT. For orders of 250 euros or more, there is no charge for shipping. This does not apply to unwieldy articles (e.g. ceiling cleaning equipment, prie-dieux, sanctuary seating) that require special handling during shipment. A portion of the extra costs will be charged to the customer.

7. Austria

We charge only a flat rate of 9.50 euros including 19 % VAT for shipments to Austria. A payment form for our bank account in Austria will be sent with your order for your convenience.

8. Switzerland

The prices for the articles will be converted into Swiss francs, currently the conversion rate in effect is 1:1.45. The German VAT of 19 %, which is included in our prices, will be deducted from the invoice total and does not have to be paid. A payment form for our bank account in Switzerland will be sent with your order for your convenience. We charge only a flat rate of 18 euros (28.80 SFR) for shipping and handling. Please note that unwieldy articles are very expensive to ship and ask for more information.

9. All Other European Countries

We charge a flat rate of 12 euros (incl. 19 % VAT) for shipment to all other European countries.

For shishipments to the USA or other countries outside the EU, we charge a flat rate of 25 euros (net)

11. Transfer of Risk

As soon as the goods have left our premises, the risk is transferred to the customer. We insure all shipments against loss and damage. So the post office is prepared to compensate for transport damage if the recipient takes the shipment to his post office with the original packaging and complains.

12. Payment terms

If there is no agreement stating otherwise, the payment terms for our invoices are as follows: 2 % discount for payment within 10 days (for orders of 50 euros or more) or net payment within 30 days. These terms do not apply to payments which are subject to fees or to payments by Paypal or credit card.

13. Reservation of Title

The goods remain our property until they are completely paid. 

14. Privacy Notice

We send catalogues and other informational material about “Art and Church” on a regular basis. For this purpose, the addresses of our customers are saved on our own computers. Your address can be deleted from our customer base any time you wish.
